Thousands of Rotary members from around the globe gathered in Calgary, Canada, for the 2025 Rotary International Convention 21-25 June. Rotary and the Gates Foundation renewed a multimillion-dollar commitment to eradicate polio. The convention also featured notable speakers such as Academy Award winner Geena Davis and Nobel laureate Tawakkol Karman. Rotary International President Stephanie Urchick kicked off the festivities by leading the thousands-strong crowd in a hearty “Yahoo!” – the exuberant greeting traditional in the city known for the annual Calgary Stampede rodeo and festival. Pathways to Peace and Prosperity is 2025 Programs of Scale Grant Recipient
