Last 11 February 2025, President-Elect Tess Sayas and husband, Atoy, met with Past President Floren Naguit and Past President Aries Balanay in the Philippines and handed over the two TIB units and planned for their deployment. The units were planned for deployment in two public schools in Angeles City with computer learning centres, the Sto Rosario Elementary School and the Gueco Balibago Public School, where they will support Alternative Learning System (ALS) students, as well as the students of the schools.
The deployment of the units is overseen by Rotarian Jumar Basco, Dean of the College of Education at Republic Central Colleges (RCC) in Angeles City with close coordination with the ALS Supervisor. The two units have been successfully setup in RCC’s Computer Lab, following the Teacher in a Box instructional video, and are now ready for delivery to the two schools.
What makes these TIB units particularly exciting is the inclusion of the exceptional and generously donated works of Tina Ranoso Bangel, a gifted Australian-Filipino author and musician.
