On 7 June 2025, Rotary of Blacktown City members attended the Rotary District 9675 Model United Nations Assembly (MUNA) at the NSW Parliament in support to the Blacktown Boys High School Team who we sponsored and who represented Iran at the debate. MUNA is a Rotary youth program in which Senior high school students develop an awareness of the United Nations and the countries they represent at a simulated UN Assembly. The assembly of young students was inspirational. They presented well researched points and articulated very well current resolutions, Assessing Food Insecurity, Combating Glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism and The Risk of Nuclear Proliferation in the Middle East.
