On 3 July, AFWomen and the Rotary Club of Blacktown City hosted A Community Police Engagement Talk featuring Chief Inspector Gary Raymond (Ret.) OAM. Held at Grace’s Place. The event was a talk on domestic violence, then further moved to genuine connection, exchange of ideas and drew heartfelt conversation and collective resolve. It was a shared call to action, it was a reminder that domestic violence isn’t just a private struggle, it’s a community concern. Chief Raymond’s wisdom, experience, and human touch brought clarity to how we can support survivors and stop domestic violence.

It was a powerful evening of truth-telling, hope-building and unity.

The collaboration between AFWomen and Rotary brought people from diverse backgrounds together, highlighting that community safety is everyone’s responsibility.

AFWomen and Rotary Club of Blacktown City will keep this advocacy ongoing, with community events like this to ensure that domestic violence is not pushed into silence. We’re committed to building safer communities through education, compassion, and collaboration.
