On 17 June 2025, the Rotary Club of Blacktown City proudly celebrated its 64th Changeover. This event was more than just the end of a Rotary Year; it was a celebration of a memorable Magic of Rotary Year. Under the leadership of 2024-2025 President Russell Ashley, the year was marked by both quiet acts of kindness and bold initiatives that brought about extraordinary impact and real change in communities.

The year ahead calls us to Unite for Good, a new season of collaboration, resilience, and renewed vision. We welcome 2025-2026 President Tess Sayas, and look forward to exploring new ideas, strengthening relationships, and upholding the enduring values that make Rotary a force for good in the world.

Also celebrated were Service Above Self Awards given to Dennis Lovely and Philippa Lovely OAM, and to Jack Kestle. David Bamford OAM was honoured for his milestone 40 Years in Rotary.

It was an evening with traditional toast to Rotary International by PDG Dick White and DG Renga Rajan and entertainment by Rotarian Marilyn Mendez, hosted by PP Ken Fairfax. Naturally, the celebration came with the joyous fellowship of Rotarians, families and friends.
