Club Member David Bamford OAM awarded Service above Self.

We are delighted to announce Club Member David Bamford OAM is the winner of our Service Above Self Award for 2020-2021.

David’s journey with Rotary started 45 years ago, and since then, he has become a vital part of the club and the Blacktown community, serving in 2020-2021 David as Special Events Coordinator.

When speaking with Westpoint Shopping Centre management, he said, “I believe if you live in the community, you should put something back into the community.” They went on to say, “People like David are one of the reasons why Blacktown is such a special, inviting place to live”. Westpoint Shopping Centre features David as part of their ‘Celebrating Neighborhood Good Project’, where they aim to highlight amazing individuals in Blacktown community.
