The annual Blacktown Police Officer of the Year Awards provide an opportunity for professional excellence and outstanding service by members of the Blacktown Police Area command to be recognised and celebrated.

The award presentation is incorporated into a gala dinner, with guest speaker/s and other Rotary presentations. The winner in each category is presented with a trophy and a framed certificate.  A citation is read for each awardee, publicly acknowledging the recipient’s excellence and qualities worthy of such an award.
