On Saturday, 23 May 2026, Rotary Club of Blacktown City joined the Mt Druitt Reconciliation Walk, where we served sausage sizzles to the participants of the Walk and to the community as part of the program organised by the District Reconciliation Committee. Our Rotary BBQ became much more than a sausage sizzle, it was in partnership and solidarity with the community. It was standing alongside our First Nations partners in a spirit of respect, unity, and shared purpose. The day’s BBQ reflected Rotary’s commitment to reconciliation: serving the community, strengthening relationships, and being present in meaningful moments that bring people together.
