An Update Shared by Rotary Club of Blacktown City Member Pam Carne – 3 February 2024
The team put in a long day today, the alarm went off at 1.30am and we headed downstairs to the airport shuttle, for a 4.10am depart to Bacolod. And there at 5.30am was a very cheery greeting committee in the dark with a beautiful banner expressing their welcome.
After a delicious breakfast we headed off to our rooms for a short kip, and to familiarise our selves with the immediate neighbourhood.
We were taken to a very special restaurant Sugba Sugba for one of the specialities chicken in salad.
Then a pamper afternoon for those of us who enjoy a massage, and return to the Hotel for a friendly evening with members of 3 Rotary Clubs, hosted by the Metro Club of Bacolod.
We are off on our first Medical Mission tomorrow about 85klms away, so staying overnight. We are all excited and curious about how tomorrow will unfold.
