ADRA Blacktown contribute so much to our local Community, not only in their form of social work with addictions, and mental health, but assisting the homeless and those suffering from domestic violence.

Their current van is 21 years old and collects food from Windsor to Bondi everyday. This food has been gifted to them from different  organisations and  would otherwise go into landfill.

They continued this service right throughout the pandemic.

The figures for their food handouts are quite staggering, and reflect the dire need in our Community for basic support to families.

This year in May alone they gave out 836 food parcels, and their efforts helped nearly 3000 adults and children in our area.

With the recent increase in costs of fuel being a huge burden to this organisation, our Rotary Club has committed to support these costs each month to assist ADRA in continuing their efforts for those less fortunate in our Community.
