Held at the Blacktown Workers Ballroom on Tuesday evening, the event celebrated the wonderful achievements of outgoing President Elizabeth Amper and heard the plan of incoming President Rob Smith for his 2023-2024 year.

During the evening three Rotary Club of Blacktown City members were recognised for their ongoing exceptional commitment and dedication to the Club with being honored as Paul Harris Fellows
Richard White OAM received his fifth Paul Harris Fellow. He became a Paul Harris Fellow for the first time in 1987
With his family watching on, Robert Vincent was honoured becoming a Paul Harris Fellow for the first time, recognising his 40 year service to the Rotary Club of Blacktown City.
President-Elect 2024-2025 Russell Ashley was honoured for his dedication to the Rotary Club of Blacktown City, becoming a Paul Harris Fellow for the first time.
Dedicated and hard working member of the Rotary Club of Blacktown City was the recipient of the 2022-23 Service Above Self Award, for the second year in a row, and his third Service Above Self Award.
Shelby Graham was acknowledged for her help at the Rotary Club of Blacktown City’s Community BBQs.
The Rotary Club of Blacktown City received Rotary District 9675 Award for the Best Local Community Project 2022-2023 for Flood Relief for Greater Sydney with Comedy. The initiative raised $94,770.40 for the Greater Sydney flood victims in the Hawkesbury and Camden areas. President Liz presented the certificate to Paula Jesse for her concept and the successful outcome of the initiative.

Rotary Club of Blacktown City’s Inaugural Winter Solstice for suicide survivors event , Pamela Carne, whose vision and passion created this important event, thanked her Winter Solstice Committee for their dedication and hard work which resulted in an outstanding and successful event. The Winter Solstice continues to receive accolades including it is seen as one of the most significant events to assist in suicide prevention. Already it has also saved lives!
An enjoyable evening was had by all.
