25 June 2023. Dr Janice Hall, District Governor of Rotary District 9675, presented Rotary Club of Blacktown City’s President Elizabeth Amper with a Certificate for the Best Local Community Project in Rotary District 9675 in 2022-2023.

Huge congratulations to President Elizabeth Amper, the Board and Members of the Rotary Club of Blacktown City on receiving the Rotary District 9675 2022-2023 Best Local Community Project Award.

The project, The Rotary Club of Blacktown City’s Flood Relief for Greater Sydney with Comedy, raised $94,770.40, including two Rotary International Disaster Grants of US$25,000 each to Rotary District 9675 (Camden) and Rotary District 9685 (Hawkesbury), to provide monetary assistance to the July 2022 flood victims in the Hawkesbury and Camden areas.

Without the support of the Rotary Club of Blacktown City Members, Rotary District 9675 and 9685, this event would not have been the success it was, raising a staggering $94,770.40 for the flood victims.
