Robert Bob Vincent

His whole life has been surrounded in some way by his passion for service. He started with a hair dressing and barber shop in Lalor Park, helping as many locals as he could, including arranging help for the elderly.

He took on a role as an Apexian where in later life was presented with Apex’s most prestigious award “Life Membership”.

Later joining Rotary, Bob was a pathfinder in helping set-up and promote the Show Princess for Blacktown Show. Bob served as a member of the Committee for the Show Society for many years. Bob was a Rotarian when he was lucky to be elected to Workers Blacktown as a Director, not once but twice. When elected he took a backward seat in Rotary for fear that people would think he would hold favour.

Bob had a few Hair salons and barbershops in Blacktown and included doing seniors hair at a suitable price including visiting them at home, another service.

Long may you rest in peace Bob, you will be heavens gain, while missed on earth by your family and myriad of customers and friends.
